高雄 （Kaohsiung)
今天我们即将离开台中南下高雄，我知道很多朋友都不大会把高雄放在旅游行程里，因为他们认为高雄跟台北都是一样的城市面貌，加上台北离桃园国际机场比较近，所以一般只要游玩台北就够了。我却跟大家有不同的想法，高雄的美不单单只是近几年在大力发展的城市面貌，它的海港，高雄的好天气，南部人的热情，都是我南下高雄游玩的原因。
Today we are leaving Taichung to the southern part of Taiwan - Kaohsiung. Based on my understanding , most of my friends usually do not included Kaohsiung in their itinerary. This is because they felt that Kaohsiung and Taipei are no difference, both city having urban landscape view. Furthermore, in term of distance, Taipei is relatively close to Tao Yuan International Airport, which about an hour bus drive. Taking into the consideration of the time they have, Taipei is always the prefer choice for most of the tourists. However I have a different view on it, there are many factors that attract me to visit Kaohsiung, their major infrastructure development which they had in the recent years, their magnificent harbor view, the cool weather in Kaohsiung during the autumn and the warmth hospitality from the southern people's.
今天的行程是自由行，所以安排比较轻松行程。在台湾，一般的住宿登记时间大约是下午三，四点，而我们的退房的时间却是十二点正。 我不想一家人推着行李逛高雄商圈，苦苦等待住宿登记时间，感觉有点狼狈，所以我让家人好好的休息，不必这么早起， 好让他们补回昨天一整天坐车的劳累。反正自由行就是按着自己的步伐慢慢来。
Today I decided to opt for a more-relaxed itinerary since we have such a pack schedule yesterday. I have checked with the receptionist of my kaohsiung 's serviced apartment that I only able to check in after 3 p.m. Since I do not wish to find myself in a stated that I am pushing my luggage around Kaohsiung city, waiting eagerly for the accommodation check in time. It already 9 am yet I do not wake my family up as I want them to have good rest before we set off to Kaohsiung.
出国旅行，我很注重早餐，所以一起身，就到逢甲大学附近寻找美食。
您有所不知，照片有早餐都是跟不同的摊口买的，我认为不是每个摊口的每样食物都好吃。我观察很久，看看这些大学生会跟哪些摊口购买哪些食物，才来购买我的理想早餐。
I always very particular about breakfast when we having oversea trip, if no breakfast provided by the hotel, as such make a point to wake up early to search for good breakfast for my family. FYI, I actually bought my breakfast from different stalls, as I felt that it is likely a stall will only have one or two their signature dish. I observed the students from the Feng Jia University, patiently looking what they ordered from each stall, before I settled my breakfast for my family.
早上七点的逢甲商圈还在沉睡中，路上的人寥寥无几。我的豆浆就是在永和春秋豆浆买的。
There were no much people around the street of Fengjia District in the early morning.

这摊口的招牌是蛋饼，我观察老板很久，他的手从没停过煎蛋饼。

both are well like by the students from the Fengjia University
我蛮羡慕逢甲大学的学生，校俯前就有这么棒的夜市，让我好眼红。
I actually very envy the student from Fengjia University, they have such a wonderful night market which just located outside their campus.
从台中市逢甲商圈去搭高铁都有免费的接驳车的服务，大约半小时一趟。
出国在外，能省就省，拿那些省下来的钱来吃美食，买东西。哈哈，您说对吗？
There is a free shuttle service that operated from Feng Jia District to the Taichung High Speed Railway Station, the interval is around half an hour. We should make good use of such service and try to save these expense for our shopping and meal. Don't you agree?
我们很幸运，这次的接驳车是一辆豪华的旅行巴士，不像那天我们搭的接驳车是一辆小巴。

车票并不便宜，但是时间就是金钱，看开点！

我家老大还是对坐高铁感到异常兴奋，还问我新加坡何时会建高铁。高雄我们来了！
My eldest son was very excited about the High Speed Rail,
he even asked when will Singapore be having High Speed Rail.
比起第一次搭高铁，这次我们显然没有那么乱糟糟，很快的我们就找到我们的座位，
安定下来吃东西。高铁行驶虽然快，但是却非常的稳，所以在车厢里吃东西没问题。
Compared to our first encounter taking the high speed rail, this trip was definitely much better, we able to find our seat faster, settled down fast and enjoy our food. Although the rail is traveling in high speed, it very stable and we have no issue having our meal in the cabin.
这是高铁的铁路便当，料很实在，喜欢那块肉，好好吃！
需要注意高铁的便当有竹笋，对那些不吃竹笋的朋友们，可能会影响他们的口感。
This is the well known railway meal set, very value for money and most importance it tasted good.
我们在两点零六分抵达高雄左营站，前前后后只花了四十四分钟，快吧！
因为我们乘搭刚好是特快的班次，嘉义站与台南站並沒有停靠，
所以列车可以开更快的速度，却花较少时间抵达左营站。
We managed to reach Kaohsiung at 2:06 p.m and the whole journey took us 44 minutes. It really fast. FYI, we are very lucky to take the 'express' train as they didn't stop at Jiayi and Tainan station, hence the train can go as fast as 295 km per hour.
我的感想：
有了高铁真好，现在去高雄不必在花这么长的时间，甚至您搭的‘普通’班次，也只须花少过一小时从台中到左营。谁说科技没法拉近人与人的距离。说实在我也一直在想我老大的那个问题，新加坡几时有高铁直通泰国曼谷，这样我就可以随时随地到曼谷shopping,吃我的最爱的mango sticky rice.哈哈！
